We are a well-established Glasgow veterinary surgery who strive to give you and your pet the best care possible. Please take a look around our website or pop in to our friendly, modern veterinary practice in Ibrox, Glasgow to get to know us better!

Our practice was first established over seventy five years ago in Pollokshields – first as Weir and Thomson, then as Stead and Galloway. Although veterinary treatments have changed a bit over this time our commitment to providing the highest standard of care hasn’t!

We are a Royal College Accredited Small Animal Practice. This means that we conform to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Practice Standards Scheme. To be awarded this status, we meet strict criteria for provision of facilities, diagnostic equipment (such as x-rays, ECG, ultrasound, laboratory analysis), nursing care, anaesthesia and medications. We are also approved by the RCVS as a Training Practice for Veterinary Nurses with our staff currently consisting of three qualified Veterinary Nurses.

We are based in a spacious, purpose-built surgery in Ibrox with off-street parking facilities including a designated disabled bay and disabled access is also available throughout the entire practice. The surgery is easily accessible from all aspects of the city, being close to the M77, M8, Clyde Tunnel and Clyde Arc (“Squinty”) Bridge.

We pride ourselves on providing excellent veterinary care in a friendly, personable environment. Please come in and visit us soon where we will be happy to give you a tour around our facilities and see what we can offer you.
