Repeat prescriptions

We are happy to provide repeat prescriptions for those on long-term medication.  We do request that you give us 48hrs notice before coming to collect medication so that a vet can authorise the prescription and we can make sure that the medication or food is in stock.  Written prescriptions are available on request.

Pets on long-term medication are checked every 3 months to assess their progress and make sure that the medication is still appropriate for them and is at the correct dose.  We may take a blood sample at this time, for example to check for signs of kidney or liver disease.
